breaking bread is located at embarcadero 4 and is a good lunch spot, especially on nice sunny days where you can sit out by the water fountain and people watch as you eat. they have a nice array of panini sandwiches from croque monsieur to roasted vegetables, reuben and lamb. my friend and i got the reuben and lamb paninis to share so i got to try both. the reuben was good but i have to say that the best reuben i’ve ever had was at the refuge in san carlos (see post from 3 days ago)! if you haven’t been there, you should definitely check it out!
