    YUM!  my favorite is the bacon cheddar & scallion biscuits from brown sugar kitchen in oakland!  beware, long wait on saturday & sundays for breakfast/brunch/lunch.  expect 1-2 hours or more depending on what time you go.

    chicken & waffles from brown sugar kitchen in oakland!  waited 2.5 hrs to eat this. good but never waiting that long again! the wait is ridiculous & service is slow! took 30 min to get our food. (Taken with Instagram at Brown Sugar Kitchen)

    went to prospect for the “neighbor” special brunch pricing last month…glad we caught it b/c everything was deeeelicious!  we ordered the apple wood smoked salmon tartine, the monkey bread, shrimp & grits and waffles!  i thought the rye bread that was used in the apple wood smoked salmon tartine could have been more crunchy but other than that, everything tasted great!  especially the monkey bread!!!
